You can expect hot, humid weather whole year through when living in Phnom Penh, with only a dry and a wet season that is distinguishable. Rain can be expected from May to October and is usually accompanied by hot and humid weather. The ‘dry’ season is from November to April.


The property market in Phnom Penh has experienced an immense boom since the early 2000s. In 2017 an estimated 1 600 new properties were made available for sale by property developers.
